guided by curiosity
grounded in experience
At Healing Indy, my mission is to help women rediscover the difference between living and living well. I believe healing begins when we slow down, tune in, and learn to meet ourselves with compassion. Through a holistic, trauma-informed approach, I help clients reconnect with their inner strength, release long-held pain, and move toward balance in mind, body, and spirit.

why i do this
For decades, fearful thoughts, anxieties and self criticism shaped how I related to myself and others. My life felt heavy and half-lived. I was “getting by,” but not truly living well. Through therapy, I began to understand myself in new ways—learning that healing wasn’t about perfection, but about awareness, acceptance, and growth. I know firsthand how powerful it can be to have someone walk beside you while you navigate your own story. Today, I bring that same empathy and hope into my work, helping women turn struggle into strength and self-understanding.

my story of
One of the first things you may notice is my collection of rocks, both in my office and at home. I am a nerd of all things wild: rocks, bugs, plants, birds. You’ll find me outside in my gardens or hiking locally or at a National Park. I’m most comfortable when my surroundings evoke the senses and inspire AWE. Since I could walk, nature fed my curiosity, soothed my nervous system and made me feel safe. This is still true today. I find inspiration, healing and magic among my plant and wildlife kin. This sacred relationship with nature informs my work as a therapist and I often encourage clients to tap into their relationship with nature.

in awe of the
natural world
My passion to specialize in women’s wellness is rooted in my individual experience and the difficulties of getting adequate care. Diagnosed with panic disorder and generalized anxiety in my 30’s, I learned how developmental trauma contributed to my mental health and how mindfulness could reduce my symptoms. This led me to seek yoga training and certification, which compelled me to pursue the mental health counseling field. I have reverence and appreciation for the difficult experiences that shaped who I am, how I think and what I believe.
My diverse training allows me to approach complex situations with different lenses and develop my own holistic approach to healing because there is no one treatment modality that fits everyone. Allow me to partner with you, as you journey through your own deep exploration, where struggles are doorways to understanding the hidden layers of your psyche.
